Project mobilities

To bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical environmental action, the GREEN project features four key transnational learning activities. These mobilities allow students and teachers from Croatia, Iceland, Portugal, Türkiye, and the Netherlands to collaborate in person, sharing technical expertise and cultural perspectives.

Each destination serves a specific educational purpose in our roadmap to resource efficiency:

1. Energy Management in Iceland

  • Focus: Learning advanced energy and water management techniques through examples of good practice.
  • Outcome: Establishing the framework for our digital worksheets on efficient resource use.

2. Digital Innovation in Türkiye

  • Focus: Mastering the technical side of environmental education, including VR (Virtual Reality) creation and professional video editing.
  • Outcome: Developing the scenarios for our interactive VR “Energy Walk” and educational video clips.

3. Green Construction in Portugal

  • Focus: Hands-on structural engineering using recycled materials to build self-sustaining garden frameworks.
  • Outcome: Documenting the construction process to create a universal blueprint for vertical gardening.

4. Smart Technology in the Netherlands

  • Focus: Integrating high-tech solutions like microcontrollers to automate irrigation and lighting systems.
  • Outcome: Finalizing the “Smart Garden” model and testing digital tools for consumption monitoring.

Through these international exchanges, we aren’t just building gardens—we are building a network of innovative European educators and students ready to lead the green revolution.
